What recoil? Go get an m4 aeg gearbox in your hand and put in on full auto. I'm not paying whatever they want for that thing for just a heavy vibration.

um...i've done that before to test cycling and such...you don't get anywhere near that kinda of "vibration" with a regular aeg geabox.

Ok, if the recoil is decent with just a gearbox in one hand, imagine how little the recoil will be with a full metal body with accessories attatched to it and the rifle shouldered properly = 0 to very little "recoil".

I don't want a Co2 tank and hose strapped to me. That's one of the many reasons I didn't like paintball. No thanks!

most intriguiging part of it is that is uses your standard tm gearbox to house it. Meaning every aeg can now be an escort based aeg.

it looks cool but i think my AK;s auto back kit may be a little louder haha. Ya classics are sweet...price tag sucks haha.

A little info update. Supposedly they're going for a new shell design to make it cheaper to produce. Upper portion remains the same, lower portion is gearbox/aeg specific. Blowback is said to have been intensified a bit. Target release date is 1st Quarter of 2008 with a $200 MSRP.

Hmm well I say just go for the whole escort package... more recoil plus a working bolt catch!

So I still haven't found out is it worth the money?Or would it be a better idea to build your own custom M4?

what is worth the money? Putting in this "gas box" would be a custom m4. However, noone can tell you if the escort box is worth it since it hasn't been released and rumours are abound about their financial woes/foreclosure.

Well what about the sun project m16a2 carbines?I've heard a little bit about them but would like to learn more about pros and cons.
