I am looking for a general opinion about if i should put an ACOG red dot scope on the rail w/o the carry handle or put it on top the carry handle. If you vote plz give your reason why.
I don't carry a gun to scare people.
If you put it on the carry handle with a see-through mount, you have your irons ready in case the ACOG malfunctions.

I'd put the red dot on top of the carry handle because if you wear a paintball mask you won't be able to look through the sight easily. Also, if it is on top you won't have to worry about the iron sights getting in your line of sight.

on the rail, with a flip up / peep sight behind it.
I put a G&P red dot sight on my rail and then got a cheap flip up rear sight for backup.
