VFC torture test for their new SCAR

Nov 14, 2007 7:17am
Watch carefully. Gearbox is fully submerged for a good 20-23 seconds.

Why don't they let it sit for 20 minutes or even 20 days then I'd be impressed. Oh how about bury it in a bucket of soil for say...20 days too?

Why is that impressive? It proves nothing. It's like that damn HK 416 test on future weapons. They put the gun in sand and shoot it. Big deal.

i guess now we know we can go airsofting in a lake if you have vfc scar. i wonder will the fish gun do well in that test?

The reason sand/ mud/ water/ and heat is so important is becasue it causes weapons to jam. They only show stupid pointless test on future weapons. Real military test involve handing out numerous amount to trainees and seeing how they perform in random enviromental conditions. Early models of the m6 jammed becasue of issues like mud and sand. Sand has an ability to slip into the firing mechanics. The ak47 however has a perfect reputation for not jamming

uhhhh you seem to fail to grasp the idea of that this is pointless for a toy gun. And AK's are capable of jamming and known to have under the same conditions.

I never heard that either. I thought both were shot in the head and neck area. I better watch "The Shootout" a little closer next time.

Seriously. Didnt they run low on ammo? One took his own life a second before he was shot by an officer.

I should also point out that sand has an ability to slip into thongs, g-strings and other assorted beach wear. Mud tends to clog noses and ears. It can also make for a wonderful spa treatment. Unjamming those precious skin pores of ours.

You agree with the jamming of the AK but still stated that it has a perfect reputation for not jamming. That does not compute.

Negative the ak47 like every weapon jams. However in comparison the ak47 jams by far less than any other weapon. With the exception of the prototype KM8.
