actually you're wrong. The United States of America was founded based upon a Republic not a Democracy. Meaning that it is ruled by a few over the many. also Isolationism has been tried before and it did not work.

I actually had a chance to work the polls a few years ago. It was a very interesting experience. They paid about $120 for 15 hours of work. I highly recommend working the polls. It really opened my eyes to what goes on, the attitudes that people have and how the process works. It was really sad that more people do not go out and vote.

Closing the borders from illegal's isn't what I call isolationism it's called security. Not allowing any form of immigration. Removing all forms of diplomatic and trade relations with other countries is called isolationism. What you are referring to isn't called isolationism but rather mercantilism.

Last night while I was watching the democratic debate I could not help laughing. Listening to Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama were going at each other like a pair of teenage girls.
