expert's interpretation of laws regarding airsoft?
According the the link I posted, they say that they are not allowed to respond to my questions.
i work for the police department and yes its illegal to take the orange tip off a gun or add realistic objects to the gun to make it seem more real... Actually in roseville its illegal to airsoft...
"Remember Jimmy Mackaway on the yard used to say, If you wanna be making moves on the street, have no attachments, have nothing in your life you cannot walk out on in 30 seconds flat in you spot the heat around the corner..."

I was hoping someone knew a lawyer or someone higher up in the justice system.

The reason I posted this is because to this day, I have never seen a single topic like this one answered by a legal expert. Also, I always see different answers, and I want to get to the bottom of this once and for all.
I'm not concerned about airsofters being shot by police, but rather the police showing up at an airsoft field and confiscating all the toys and charging everyone. If such an event can be prevented, I'm all for it.
1. If you play on a pay-to-play site there is ZERO chance of cops showing up and confiscating your weapons. It's a place of business, the city and law-enforcement are fully aware of it therefore will not come barging in unless they have a more serious reason to.

Maybe I should clarify, when I use the term airsofter, I am referring to actual players of the sport/hobby, not kids who has a springers and go around shooting them.

The definition was made so that people like rexbo wouldn't get the wrong idea. Of course I'm concerned about accidental shooting, just trying not to include it for the purposes of this discussion.
The only real answer that matters is the one from the county DA's office where you are playing. No matter what our opinions are the law is waht counts and the people who press charges ares the ones who count. So just stop this dumb thread and call the DA's lol.
I posted, hoping someone had done this before, but I agree, I think this is done, until someone gets a definite answer.

No offense guyfromchina, but you're definitely rubbing everyone the wrong way. People keep telling you one thing, whilst you totally discount what they are saying.

Ok I think this thread has upset enough of the hornets in the nest. The SacAir Po Po says it is time to get along and for everyone to do what it i they think is right.
