Some how the bolt that holds the bottom halve of the magazine to the upper halve stripped. The bolt threads at the tip are gone.

Probably from overtightening. I've never seen it happen.

I never tightened it, it was kept stock.

Stock? That has nothing to do with a screw in the magazine.

Okay well is there a way to fix it? Can a new bolt be found somewhere?
