i've been checking around for the last few days with online retailers for protect helmets. The cheapest I've found is $8.00 + $10.00 shipping from a hong kong dealer. All the domestic dealers are $30.00

Big5, walmart, sports authority, bicycle shops....

As far as I know big5 do not carry protec brand helmets. I have been in a few (around Arden and Elk Grove). That should save you a trip.

Yea one of my co-workers went the $8 HK route, hasn't gotten it yet. I wasn't sure if Wallie World had them, last time I was in there, I didn't see any.

ya i would just go to a skate shop you will have the largest selection there yet the prices seem to be more. you could try any bike shop. rei might have some. other than that good luck.
