The question they're attempting to answer is a rather narrow one. If we lose, DC gets their gun laws back and nothing really changes.

This isn't going to affect Californians at all. The Supreme Court will be surgically precise with a highly-defined ruling affecting D.C. and D.C. alone.
Gun control is not Crime control.
