Do you encourage a camelback type hydration system to be worn while in the middle of games at sacairsoft. or is it alright to just bring water in a cooler and drink it in the middle of games?

hydration is a process too. If you come to a game dehydrated already, then its game over. But, if you come already hydrated, then your good.

Btw, hydration is just as important if not more so in cold weather. Water is the body's temp. regulating "core"; hot and cold. A dehydrated person will freeze to death or reach deadly hypothermia much faster.

indeed energy drink, soda, coffee all bad for you in hydration sense. They are Diaferetics. They do contain water in them but they make yo pee alot more which in turn dehydrates you. Drink water with maybe one gatorade in the summer time or winter time but more important in the heat, Remeber if you dirnk to much water that can kill you, over hydration with not enough electrolytes but that is a very severe case of it lol.

Gatorade the night/morning before and water during the activity.

Thanks AO, and the rest of you I guess. That was very helpful. I know about hydration because I do endurance hundred mile bikerides and stuff, I was wondering about how airsoft dehydrates you. This was very helpful so thanks.

Yup Yup. As my wrestling coach says if you pee clear you are well hydrated. I suggest investing in a hydration pack, they are a lot cheaper these days too.
