What is the process for making an Automatic into a Single shot. I was thinking about turning an CA m14 into a sniper. any input is welcome

I usually move the selector from 3 o'clock to 12 o'clock position. for an m4, or turn the selector towards you for semi for an m14..

just kidding dude. Move the selector to where you want it...semi, then take it off.

Won't really matter around here. It would have to be PERMANTLY disabled to work a "sniper" rifle, and that is not really good for your gun.

well for sac airsoft how could i make it acceptable

Putting a CA to "sniper" velocities isn't very good for the gun either.

yah thatas true. just the m14 is personally my damn favorite gun. so i figured having it as a sniper might be fun

Dont be a sniper.

The CA M14 gearbox. I see no reason the shell wont hold up to high fps springs. The rest of it is questionable though.

Airsoft snipers are lame.

There is little room in gameplay for someone with a "sniper" rifle. That, and I don't trust the average airsofter using their super upgraded sniper rifles. I'm constantly telling a certain player to stop finger f*cking the trigger on his "sniper" rifle. Doesn't get it.

I agree with "he who used to be called Andrew". Can't really deploy, acquire a target, and engage like a real sniper in airsoft. But, how about an airsoft alternative: stealth shooter? If a scenario was long enough in developing (with a complex objective(s)), then a person could work at getting hidden in a strategic place with a silent weapon, say, a Mk23 and take out enemy personnel, causing harassment and confusion. Terrain and foilage would have to be ideal as well. Ahhh, forget it. Too much trouble.

that one. lol. um idk i have alot of different options right now. sounds like a negative on the m14, but the body of the gun is really cool. but overall sniper role is still a go hopefully
