If you had something to add, and it doesnt fall under 'tactics', it is already covered.

I was implying more to the fact that the actual mechanical safety device rather then the infamous line from BHD Movie which has become a sickening cliche.

Great Post. Is this in the newb section?
If you give to a charity please think of giving to one of these two charities. The Naval Special Warfare Foundation or Navy SEAL Warrior Fund.

Nope. It'd be good to have it there, and also in the "I play every weekend but act like a newb" section.

LMS Defense provided us with two additional rules. Just thought I'd toss it in here. Use as you may. But Cooper's four are VERY important.

I think you missed the point of that one there spook. It states if you drop it don't attempt to catch. It doesn't say NOT to pick it up afterwards. Would you try and catch a knife you dropped?

football players are trained not to drop the football. Yet it still happens.

I think it's safe to assume that none of us wants to drop our weapon. Nonetheless, for safety reasons, it should be emphasized to not catch it if it does happen. Though I do agree to never let that happen in the first place.

In close range combat, an unsuspecting melon will get the back of its melon blown off.

speak for yourself. I've never attempted to catch a falling knife unless it was a plastic, rubber or butter knife :P
