I have the systema turbo gearbox and motor in my TM MP5 RAS and i am currently using an 8.4 volt battery. in order to fit a 9.e6 I am told i would have to dremel a little which scares me. so would it be worth upgrading to the 9.6volt for perforance reasons like rate of fire or should i just stick with the 8.4?

i dremeled my stock to fit in a bigger battery and my guns performance is way better. I would do it if i was you.
thanks for the responses. so l took a hack saw and sliced of about an 1/8 of an inch from the rail and the battery now fits in snuggly. i thought i bought a 8.4 a couple days ago but it turns out AEX sold me a 9.6 when i asked for a 8.4 so it all worked out perfectly.

What spring you have in the gearbox? If you have an m100 spring in it, don't hold down on 100rd midcaps or hicap mags. Those systema pistons break!
ya they do use guarder ones, much better.
I've gone through TM, Systema, Area1000, Guarder (gray), pistons with my setup.
TM pistons are always the best, if you can find them buy them.
