9.6v in an M733

Dec 4, 2007 5:38am
I have upgraded gears and other internals on my TM M733, but will a 9.6v battery be able to fit in the gun, I already have a liittle trouble with a normal 8.4v.

A mini 9.6 will not fit. You will need to use one of the slim 9.6 2000mah nunchuck batteries.

the nun-chuck is still a very tight fit. make sure you get the smaller shorter one rather than the peq nunchuck battery

The slim 9.6 2000 mah nunchuck is not a tight fit.

Ok, I just found a good nun chuck battery for a good price, I think. Is the one on UNCOMPANY just like the one on airsoft extreme? Also, are M733s supposed to have a metal bar on the inside of the top handguard.

The nice guys at costumer service at UN Company said that I needed my fusebox removed in order for the nun chuck to fit. Is this true of the battery at AEX too, or is it just the one at UN Company, or is it both? They look the same in the pictures.

Don't believe so. You'd have to cut the zip tie that holds the fuse against the barrel and remove the fake buffer tube (the silver bar floating above the barrel), but it'd fit fine.

ok, i guess i need to take out the buffer tube. I'll try to get someone to show me how without messing up the gun, or is it really easy?

Its called a gas tube. On the TM M733, pull back the ring that hold the hangduards in place, and just pull the tube up and out.

alright I just pulled out the gas tube. So what is the best type of battery? I just found a battery that is 2200mah but I don't know if it is as good as an intellect. It is from all battery.com or something like that.
