Anyone on here own/use a throat mic? How do they compare to the frogmans? I did a few searches, not much feedback as far as actually using one. Worth the money?

I used a IASUS NT throatmic. Sucked, always slipped off my neck, people could not hear me. I don't recommend those. Maybe the DEVGRU ones from AEX are better.

I have used the IASUS NT Sniper, my only problem is I lost the small thing for the ear piece. So I can not use it. I have never had a problem with it.
If you give to a charity please think of giving to one of these two charities. The Naval Special Warfare Foundation or Navy SEAL Warrior Fund.

The throat mics require it to be places JUUUUUUUUUUST right in order to work clearly. If it's not in place you get major mild flavored failure sauce all over your face.

The earcup is pretty comfortable save the sweat pool. It does block out ambient sound of your left ear however, so take that into consideration.
