How the hell do you replace the batteries on an EOTECH replica? I'd prefer to get some advise before I do it myself and it explodes on me...

This was much easier on the 557 than on the 551, which needed to be pried up with a flat head screwdriver. After you lift the bar, youâll notice that the battery compartment slides forward slightly. You then need to wiggle the entire battery compartment off of the sight, which takes some getting used to. The inner ledge of the 552 is labeled as to which way the batteries should be place. After replacing the batteries, lower the compartment back onto the sight, and push the locking bar back down.
