mV

On my peak charger there is a setting of mV. what is this, and what should I set it at for a 8.4v 1200 or 1400 mah battery?

mV is a unit of measure... milivolts or .001 Volts. People usually say a charge rate of 1A for each 1000mAh so 1.2A or 1.4A... i usually charge my battery at the lowest charge rate though. Think of a battery like a beer glass. If you charge it at a faster rate if fills faster but you get more foam so you cant put as much in. A slower charge rate is like filling the glass slower so theres less foam and more beer or in this case more potential energy

I usually charge my battery on .5 amps, but should i swithc the mV as well, it is currently at 30.
