Sup Dudes!
Hey Guys and Gals! The name is Hodge. I just bought a spring air rifle and pistol about 2 weeks ago, and have been shooting Sticky targets in the back yard. I only found out air soft was game after i started looking for more clips and different types of guns. I wanted to find air soft events locally and stumbled on this forum. It looks pretty cool. I look forward to attending an event soon. Any thing i should know before hand or any thing i should have? As i said i look forward to making this a new and exciting hobby. Thanks

Welcome, have fun, get used to the forums and get to know people. Come on out to the games and meet people. A Lot of us including me tend to be pricks on the site but are fairly cool and down to earth at games. I do recommend that you invest in an AEG (Auto Electric Gun) for our games seeing as almost all the member use those. Not saying you wont be able to play with a spring gun but it will be alot easier if you got a good AEG to use.
Thanks for the Warm Welcome! As for AEG's i was looking into the Crosman Pulse R72 as a beginner gun. And eventually get an Aeg Version of my Spring M1a but that one is around $200. But i will be sure to hit up the For sale section. I look forward to meeting a lot of new people and learning alot. thanks again. Any one with any experience with the Crosman Pulse R72?

Stay away from Crossman. Look into TM, CA, and G&P guns for AEG's. KWA or TM for pistols.

I was looking into Tokyo Marui MP5's is the "clone"made by them or some one else? As for Crossman are they not reliable for a beginner of just save the money? I'm not looking to Spend more than between $100-150 on an AEG. Any suggestions?

good man, Im glad you went for a CA rather than a clone.
everyone really seems to like these sportlines, but aren't they just the same clones with doubled qc?
aaaahhhhhhhhhhgh!
True but i hear less bad things on em haha.
W3rd!! I heard way worse things about the clone M14 i was going to buy. Yeah it was cheaper but this was the best bang for my buck! And it was on sale. So im glad i jumped on it! See you guys at the next event and thanks again for the advice. Who knows what i would have ended up with  !!
