I just bought my airsoft gun from AEX Oakland and got everything I needed. My question is when charging the battery should there be a light on the charger or does that matter? The guy set it up at the store for the right settings im just making sure i don't have a defective charge kit. When i first plug it in the green light flashes then goes out when i attach the battery.

What kind of charger is it?

its a hitech automatic NI-CD/ Ni- MH V Battery Charger IC-14V is the model number.

If it is charging it charging, the light should be red and it turns green when it is finished.

If it's the new little purple box we're carrying that says "Smart Charger" on the face then the LED should blink red and green twice when you first hook it to a power source.
