Heh, Planning on become one of Uncle Sam's Misguided Childern.
I don't carry a gun to scare people.
Trying to get my commission in the USAF. Specifically the Medical Services Corps. At the moment, I'm probably going to do Reserve while I go to grad school.
Planning on enlisting and becoming a US Marine after High School. Possibly Army but I'd rather go to the Marines.
Awaiting naval medical appeal to enlist in the USMC. Another 14 days before appeal is decided and either yay or nay. Yay, I enter the delay entry program due to my possession of braces. Nay, I might actually start going to college.

How about a selection for "too old to enlist".
I have always acted in self defense, occasionally pre-emptive self defense.
Army takes people up to age 42...

I had a friend that went to UND, AFROTC student on a scholarship. He'd already gotten his private pilot license. For some reason he came back, transferred to Sierra, dropped out and joined the Army. Now, he's a decorated veteran.

question do you have to do any rotc to get into ocs, or bill your bachelors be enough?
As far as USMC OCS/TBS is concerned, there's no guarantee that you'll be accepted into the program. Bachelors degree is not an immediate qualification. It's a selection process, not everyone will make it into the program- and furthermore not all who go through will graduate.
Every day above ground is a good day.

go to Norwich University, its basically West Point and the Naval and Air Force Academy combined into one. I'm in the Naval Battalion. Definately enlisting though.
go to Norwich University...
Agreed. Norwich has a great program, and they're very progressive. They had the first co-ed Corps of Cadets int he Nation. Surprisingly, not many know about that program. During the Civil War, the state Academy's were second to none. The South had VMI and the North had Norwich.

OCS is the option i have to aim for. I said if i was going to join the military i would either do it after my degree or as an officer. Does not matter what rank as long as i fulfill my personal duty i feel i am obligated to do. Even if i do not make it to OCS i will have an extra strip in the Air force for having completed the requirements for the Billy Mitchell Award as Cadet. And i will just get my pilots license for recreation.

i know that the ba is just part of the equation. i am wondering what the other parts of that equation are. i am transfering to a four year university in a year and am wondering if i should start anything there with the rotc or not.
