yes it can be upgradeable, however how well or how long it will last is debatable.

so .12 will give a higher fps then using .20? and what manufacterers is the ak compatible with?

.20's or heavier in any gun beyond compact spring pistols.

I have 3 CYMA AK's. The 028 model actually. I've used them as loaners, and rentals at games. And, sometimes for personal use. I have been highly impressed with the quality that CYMA is producing nowadays.

Get a TM ak I've got one and it's the best gun I've ever owned. You'll be happier with a tm in the long run.
