Slowly, I'm becoming a gear nut. A new patch here and there, a new pouch that I can stuff a ipod into, yadayada yada. I've been looking at TAD for some time. Reading reviews and checking out the gear that people sport at Fort Ord has got me asking how good are they. Well, I decided after a few weeks of putting it off, and finally made the trip to TAG gear in San Francisco.
Nice review KB. I could have done without the pictures, damnit! From your pictures I see several other items that aren't really necessary...but I probably have to have.
There was one thing I do need, and most likely I'll get it from TAD just because I know they have it. But a E&E kit would do nicely even though we just play airsoft. Had a guy split his lip at one of the games I attended, and I steped in as the medic. That night I realized I was missing something from my loadout. I'll grab a 5.11 small med pouch, and have TAD gear fill it up.
