You gained 20lbs in 4 months... thats pretty unbelievable. You must have been a featherweight. What was your body fat before and after? cause there is no way you put 20lbs of lean muscle in 4 months.
You just got killed by a Daewoo Lanos...How You like me now?
lol, you didnt gain 20 lbs of muscle that fast...thats not likely. i lift and run 4 times a week, but i do it to stay in shape for baseball, and airsoft, kinda. its good and makes thing easier to be strong, for example: have you ever wanted peanut butter, for what ever reason, but you couldnt take the lid off because your puny little arms didnt have the strength? lol, really its goo for you to be healthy, thats why i dont eat too much junk, and i dont smoke, and drink very little.
I was NCAA Track and Field and worked with a bodybuilder and am now.
so bodybuilding may be an exxageration, but lifting is good for all the kids out there. for a little extra luv, whey protien in the morning and night along with creatine right before you lift...NICE. it's over the counter and does not affect your most important soldier, he still can salute.
Drive fast, drink hard and don't hesitate to shoot your friends.
notice i said lb's not muscle.

Stay away from Creatine. If you have the right diet of red meat protein you will get plunty. Just use Whey protein. And 20 lbs is still a lot for fat or muscle. On avg. a healthy gain is 2-3 lbs of muscle a month.

before you start trying to live and eat like a bodybuilder talk to a nutritionist. A legit one. Most athletes don't eat 5000 calories a day.

I do heavy lifting on and off. I have had my weight to 255 with a BMI of 9%. That was through a mixture of weight lifting, high protien diets, ALOT OF CARDIO!!!! I cant emphasize cardio, it is so important.
my body type is ecto ukau. my metabolism is like an formula 1 race car.

Whatever you do don't be stupid and take creatine. All it does is shove water into your muscles. Whey Protein and Ice baths will work 100 times better, and are better for you.
Finally, an area I can confidently comment on. Don't listen to the guy above me. Creatine is not bad for you, nor is most of the supplements people will try and steer you away from. Like anything, creatine is only dangerous in continual use. You didn't really go into detail about what are you trying to accomplish/gain by working out. I ask because certain requests call for certain exercises and muscle stimulation. 20lbs is a tad on the high side, but it's not unhealthy or abnormal. Whey protein is good, if you can afford it stick with "celltech", or "6 star" is a not to expensive brand. I would recommend taking glutamine as a daily supplement. When supplemented, it will help you reduce the amount of muscle deterioration that occurs. Basically, it will retain muscle while you burn fat, even while your sleeping. Combine that with a protein shake 2-3 times a day, and HYDRATE all the time. Especially if you take creatine. HYDRATE HYDRATE HYDRATE. If you want to know more let me know. You didn't specify your workout /body type, what are you trying to do? Big arms? Six pack? (there not real)
 Dude, your 16. Alot of people have a high metabolism at your age. your body fat at the original 5% is damn healthy. Regardless good luck on your goal.

You are 16. Taking supps and weight lifting now will stunt growth and ruin your joints. You should hear me before I work out. Im only 20, but my knees and ankles are 65.

im just trying to get up to 190 lbs or more. and just get a pretty good physique. nothing like ronnie coleman or anything. trying to get the females as well.

I disagree. Working out and starting young is not a bad idea. There are so many kids who just sit around and play WOW all day. It's disgusting. If your 16, go easy on the supplements. Even protein is something to reconsider. Enjoy the fact that you don't have to work very hard to stay in shape. Stay away from creatine unless you feel that you need it, and consult your physician before doing so. Bulking up is healthy when done properly. You wont go Edward Norton from American History x overnight, this will take time. When your young you want things to happen fast, but this wont.
weightlifting stunting someones growth is one of the BIGGEST myths in bb'ing.

Sure lifitng young is not bad but doing to much is a bad thing.
