So, where do you draw the line? I don't mean what is fightin words. What is the difference between "talkin sh*t" and making factual observations about something/someone that is negative?

I get talked down to and get called every name in the book for a living. Words don't piss me off nearly as much as actions. Now, can the two join forces, sure! :D

Personal attacks on low levels, like sexist/racist/etc. that are serious should never be allowed.

If its on the streets and not a job thing...I always go by "Dont have your mouth write a check your butt cant cash" There is no clear line. Some people even take jokes personally. It depends on the person you are talking to. You know how far or how much trash you can talk to a person, and if you dont, maybe you shouldn't.

Im not trying to be a dick but having ambiguity of being a LEO officer is not cool...

i get called every name at work to, im not a cop im a security manager and i dont forget it. :lol:

I hate it when moms get pissed at me because I don't have the shoe they want for their kid so they ask for whatever size and it just so happens to be the most expensive one. Then they get bitchy and yell....and I remember I have to keep my cool if I ever want to be in law enforcement.

Unless it's a threat I usually ignore what morons say. I avoid violence with a great deal of energy.

According to some of the idiot college classes I have taken. Due to their own issues at times a few people are unable to properly interpret what is said to them properly. Now that the load of crap is said.
