G36...

I know the gun has been out for some time now, but I have taken a year vacation from the sport, and would like to know what it's good attributes are. I plan on getting one stock, upgrading it with a m140 spring, and metal bushings. Now, do I need better gears, or will the stock ones be fine? Then, what accessories do people suggest buying for your guns, as in the most useful? I plan on getting 2 standard mags along with it, no hicaps. But flashlights, silencers(are these even worth it?), lasers, and reddots. Or would it be fine just how it is? Thankz, for the help.

Just buy the gun, a battery and a hi-cap. Forget all that junk hanging off your gun. If you really want one really useful accessory, get the silencer and leave it at that. If you put a M140 in it, we won't let you play with us anyways. (Or we will force you to modify the gun to shoot semi-auto only, as per Sacair rules.) The hottest you can shoot with a select fire rifle is 400 fps with .20g. Often times, we play at the CQB field, and the limit there is 350 fps. A few of us have left bleeding before, so we chrono all guns now, and if I'm there, you can bet that I'll be providing the .20g bb's for everyone to chrono with. No exceptions to the rule.

Sorry, i ment m100/120. Im not sure which one to get. I want one spring just under 400, and one spring just under 350. I have bled from bb's, and I understand the pain from them. I just want some good power, with an effective range. And about how much does the silencer muffle the sound?

The silencer actually works well. You should hear Glenn's support G36K sometime. If you really tune your box up, you can get it pretty quiet. But for performance, the G36C really is a good gun. You can get the larger foregrip to accomodate a big battery, it uses massive high-cap mags, and the gearbox is tough as nails.

I love my G36, even stock.
Seek the Narrow Gate, for the path is broad and the gate is wide that leads to destruction.

Large handguards for the TM G36C is highly recommended. I think that's the only drawback the TM has. The gearbox is solid. A lot of people recommend using metal bushings when you use upgraded springs. LoL...I've used Systema m100 springs in rifles with the stock nylon bushings with no ill effects...I do have metal bushings in my M4 though (0=3

if you want good reliablity and durability, just get a systema m100 spring, some systema bushings, a systema shim set, and a systema BS tightbore inner barrel, that should be fine, if you want more range, get a longer inner barrel and add a barrel jacket to it, or a suppersor to cover the inner barrel.

Thank you all so much for the advice. I plan on getting G36, metal bushings, systema m100 spring, 2 extra mags, silencer, and a red dot at first. Then I'll upgrade to a larger foregrip, and a better gearbox. Thank you all so much! :D
