Ok, just for fair warning, this is really a newb question.

I have a glock 18c and at the games the gas gets hot and its too powerful so the slide blows off when i shoot it. so i need to buy a metal slide that is $100.

i got a G18c, fully upgraded. and when its too hot the slide wont cycle back. which isnt a bad thing, cuase ill just use 134a or duster gas instead. my G18c is for sale ;) interested?

Yeah, I saw that you were selling that, Viper. I want it... but it's a little out of my price range.

stock pistols you are usually better off with 134a, but green works ok too... just plan on it breaking at some point. usually the slide or something.

i personaly think that berretas are fun to mess with also

what exactly is your budget for a GBB?

Less than $200 or as cheap as possible without buying something crappy. I just want to screw around with it, I can't really see using it in a game too much.

you could get a KSC G19 with Metal slide upgrade for under $200

ok, so the one on WGC is a G18c with upgrades for $185. You could probably do a G19 for cheaper. up to you. If you want a glock, go KSC. anything else, go western arms. don't buy anything from Airsplat

WA paraordnance compact carry. Think they are around 150 in some places. Western Arms gun, very nice recoil, decent price.

to my understanding, its a combination of the ABS slide flexing from the force or the green gas. But my brothers gun has done alright with green gas... if you overlook the wear on the slide catch. But I am definately not a good source of GBB information. But it is all pretty much common sense.
