Guarder clear bucking in a TM M14

Jan 29, 2008 3:27am
is way too much, with the hop set off if i aimed at someones feet 100ft away i'd hit them in the face, and without arcing this thing is ranging between 200-250ft with .20 glow in the dark bb's (couldn't tell where they were landing in the day) at 380fps. So yeah just dont put a guarder clear in your TM M14. Now with TM Mp5's these things work wonders.

well ive noticed that when you turn your hop back all the way it accually pushes down a lil. try putting it all the way up then go down like a 1/16th of a turn and it should flatten out... from my experience BTW

Yeah i've tried that. One thing though, and ill update this later. I'm not sure which nub is in there... could be the tm nub with a clear bucking.... not looking forward to taking this apart...

Works insanely great in mine. I have it teamed up with the "big out" hop nub.
You just got killed by a Daewoo Lanos...How You like me now?

Yep its because it was a TM nub. I'll order that nub you have though and put it in sometime with the clear.

regardless of the nub. You may find that you get better trajectory with heavier weight bb's.
use the stock tm hop bucking nub
So are you saying use the stock bucking & nub? What is your reasoning?

Slightly off topic, how did those KA mags turn out after you filed em?

the diameter of the "nub" from the guarder hop bucking is larger than the stock one which in turn will lessen the initial hop setting that you're getting...

I've used .25's and .30's in mine with the guarder clear with and without the h-hop nub without your prescribed conditions.
