I had one and used it a lot. Now I am waiting to save the money to purchase a CAW. But that will get a choke so the bb's will hopefully not spread out to much.

I've seen those thing in action before. CA M203 launcher and CA 165 rds shell, fully loaded the shell with 165 rds of .12g bbs. It doesn't go very far. The range gets better if you only partially load the shell with bbs.

I owned G&P and CA m203s at various points. Both rail and barrel mounted. Also owned a Star GP-30 for the AK. I used madbull and CAW grenades. Ended up selling them as I realized that grenades aren't for me.

I used to have a CA m203 with 3 shells. Sold it to MichealD a long time ago when I enlisted.

Perhaps less bb's are better. However depending on the host of a game I would prefer to use 8 mm bb's than the typical 6 mm. The extra weight and strength can fly better and go thru bush.

40 feet shooting distance is not too far. Can you use green gas to make it go 60-80 feet?

I carry one when I need a quick blast on a close, fast moving target, clearin a bunker or trench, or when some one is too close, and reaching for my sidearm is not an option.

The added weight is not that bad. I do not understand why so many people complain about it.
