ok well if you want to spend the money and become serious about airsoft "sniping" then yes its worth upgrading. if your gonna be one of those guys with a super upgraded rifle and you don't know how to use the gun effectively or safely then do not upgrade it.

yeah 700-800 dollars for a good rifle+upgrades (aps-2, l96, vsr-10)

Whoa my cousin has a warrior 1 and he upgraded it with cylynder, piston, piston head, Springs and It is a hell of a gun and he didnt spend 500. The most spendy was the cylinder.

Yeah this kind of a fun little side projects for us. The type 96 rifle is a good little gun for upgrading on the side, for a clone that is.
