OK, I'm trying to put together a parts/order list to get that Super Rate Of Fire.... The gun will be skirmished with also and I would like it to be pretty reliable so I'm not going to put in a 12v battery, Super high speed motor, high speed gears :wink: Not unless there is a way to increase life and reliability :wink: ......

should get a super torque motor, smoother, or even a high speed motor =) HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! 12v.....get a "Type R" battery ;) it will definitely be fast =)

I basically want to build a "Hot Rod" that I'll be entering in the "buildoff" so I want the ooohhhh's and aaahhhh's of a tricked out mech. :D

My cyl is teflon coated. And I don't think you'd want 12v batt running super high speed gears. ROF is pretty quick with 8.4 and an EG100.

I would take CAIN as the final word when it comes to high speed guns. Trust me on this one. He's thorough, he's into reliability, he's a gunner, and he makes insanely fast guns.

I used a lower setting spring in my mp5 for the ROF, try like a M80 or M90

If you decide to go with Super high speed gears, you won't have a choice. Bearings are in the center of the top 2 gears. I would say there is less stress on the bearings being in the center. We'll see, cause I will put them through the test. :twisted:
