its nice, but with only 15 minutes of battery life, ill stick with a surefire 6p led with 80 hours and 120 lumens. more than enough to get the job of what a flashlight should do done: provide light.
cool, thats one power light. that cooking egg is a bit must., that thing is one big fire hazard tho. i can't wait until wolfhound (daniel) see this topic...he is a taclight whore.

If you guys pickup the current issue of Popular Science, there's an article in the How 2.0 section about a homemade flashlight. It's the size of a small boombox. It uses a mercury arc bulb, powered by 50+ nimh battery cells. Oh and did I mention it's 38 million candlepower. It can reach out and illuminate a boat at 9 miles.
