Try this, If your cylinder has a slot near the back end. Flip the cylinder around so it's towards the front.

heres what you should do, dont cut the spring get a stock spring and keep it fully compressed(not sure how your gonna do this, figure something out) for about a week and your fps will drop to nothing. i accedently left my augs piston cocked for about a week and it went from 410 to 329, so u figure stock spring 280 for a week or more its bound to drop to around 200 or so
how poor am i??? im so poor that if steam boats were a dime apiece all i could do is run up the river bank saying aint that cheep.

yah come to think of it boys is prob your best bet, i mean your playing indoors anyway its not like u need to shoot .20's plus i could use one as well, ok so heres what you should do. sell the aeg you were trying to downgrade, buy three boys m4a1's keep one, then give both of the fetus's ours for giving you this great idea. i know i know were asking to little but hey were not doing this for stuff, its just to help you out

Seriously I don't see why you would want to make a $300 AEG shoot below 200FPS. Just by one of those "Full-size" electrics on Ebay that have the same internals as mini electrics and use the AA batteries. Will be comparable in price to buying a new spring.
