So my redwolfairsoft order has been delayed to be inspected with the possibility of it being seized. (PDI hop-up unit for maruzen type 96)

my friend had his gun inspected that he custom ordered from redwolf... it too was shipped DHL and it took longer than expected to arrive. But the tracking number says to call DHL customer service. Do that and see whats up. You may just have to tell them that its a part for an airsoft toy... don't say gun

DHL says it has been seized. I dont know why redwolfairsoft keeps telling me it is waiting to be processd and inspected. this is rediculous since it is just a hop-up unit.

ya just call them again and ask them how to get it straitened out. Redwolf can't do anything since you are the receiver i believe. Tell DHL to open the box and take a look at it... I'll be online here for the next 1:15, give them a call and tell us what they say.

Man, DHL and Redwolf keep contradicting eachother with the prognosis of my shipment.

yes to the latter... you may not hear anything then it'll come. Thats how my friends gun was

Ok this might sound strange, you know what port it entered the US. So why don't you cut out the two middle men and call customs your self?

It came into LA and I contacted them but they were even less of a help since I have not recieved a seizure letter. Customs told me to call back then but they said it would take about a month to recieve it.

i know, totally lame. and who would have thought a hop-up unit would be seized and give me this much difficulty. I have ordered AEGs and gear boxes without any problems. :(

Hey i was just looking through the forums and found this feed that pretty much sums up exactly what im going through right now. as of 1/29/08 i ordered a front end conversion kit from redwolfairsoft and it was shipped via DHL. When it hit LA customs on 1/31/08 it was siezed. i have been waiting since to recieve my package. i have been going through the same stuff you are with calling DHL. however, i have found out that if you call 8666000014 between 5am-5pm you will get their import/export office which will have the correct information. before i would call after 5 and get the guy in arizona which had about the same information i could get with the tracking number on thier website. the import office told me it could take 15-30 days to clear. seeing that tomorrow (2-29-08 ) will be 30 days i called in and they told me the 30 days was a average :( so basically customs is still looking at my package and i have no idea how much longer this is going to take. ive shipped whole guns through redwolf and DHL before and never had this much of a problem and it looks like others are also. anyways i hope your package coming in the mail along with mine so we both can get to fort ord for the next game.

I hope it all wokrs out for you. I recieved an email from redwolf that confirmed it has been seized. I ended up ordering it from UN Comany and i go it in less than a week.

damn it and I was about to place an order with them

Ok now for an update.

weird, I just ordered a g&g gas bolt for my aps2 from them, and they shipped it next day. sure enough, it got here the next day (fed 26th) before 10:30 am
