what is the real steel version of the CA m14 scout? or is that just what it is?
Its known as a SOCOM 16. Though I haven't heard or seen SOCOM actually using this version. Essentially it has a 16" barrell, reworked gas system and compensator.

The CA m14 scout is based off the real Springfield m14 scout (M1A scout for most of us). It has an 18 inch barrel.
