debating between 2 guns

Feb 7, 2008 10:07pm
I have boon looking through some full metal pistols that i am interested in. I have broguth it down to 2. I cant decide between a HFC Full metal M9 elite with a semi and automatic switch, or an HFC p226... I am not sure which may be better or which would look best. I think they kinda look the same but have seen neither in person. Both claim to be "full metal". The M9 is about 20 dollars more. I appreciate any advice. Thank you.

Andrew is right. If you want a p226, get the Marui and keep it bone stock.

well i plan on mainly using it for targhet practice, it probably will never even see the sun, unless i decide to shoot it in my back yard (in the woods). Just wondering what people might prefer and which they thought was overall better? you say theyre not good quality because its made by HFC? I mean as long as it doesnt break, i doubt ill ever drop it and know i wont be running around with it. thanks for the replys :)

I’ve owned a HFC M9, what a waste of money and a very bad decision on my part. Stick to a TM, you won’t regret it.

Bottom line......you get what you pay for.

let me know how that p226 works for you. you guys realize not a single one of you answered my question? lol, doesn't really matter because i appreciate all of your input anyways. I think you guys must play with your guns a lot. In my case I plan to maybe use it about 30 days out of the year. Once in a while just shooting stuff. Mainly looking for a real gun replica I can mess around with (since I'm only 19 and can't own a real pistol yet). I have no experience with airsoft or real guns either. Just figured I would ask around see what people thought. So I'm guessing it's all about the name brand. Anymore input is appreciated, because I will probably never stop asking questions lol. Thanks for your time and I am looking forward to hearing more.

I guess I got lucky, I ended picking up a TM p226 over some of the "metals one" cause it was lighter!
I may be a noob, but I earned a real TAB.
