new GBB side arm..what to get ,so I need your opinon

Feb 12, 2008 4:18am
So i have had my fair share of bad luck with GBB pistols. I have had two TM P226 sigs have major problems, one KWA USP compact and HFC M92 have issues as well. I am going to be buying a new GBB so i want your opinion on what to get.

if your tm sig is having problems then you will probably want to reconsider the tm 1911 since the internals are identical. Given that I've had couple of issues with the tm 226 mainly due to me using green/propane on a very hot summer day.

If you have had bad luck with GBBs I would suggest to you AEPs. I am a huge fan of the TM MP7. Its the shit and I'll stand by it even if it is a little large. (not saying that there aren't smaller AEP options, there are)
aaaahhhhhhhhhhgh!

yeah i was thinking about the MP7 but i really enjoy a GBB so now I just need to find a reliable one and the TM sig P226 and the TM 1911 are now off my list. I am really considering an ungraded KSC glock 19 from UNcompany or TM glock 17.

Even though I had problems with my Sig. It's not due to TM at all. I was using it with green on a very hot summer day. Had I simply switched to 134a I would've been fine. Also both my upgraded SIG and my 1911 are in perfect operating conditions.

The TM 1911 is not the same internally as the Sig, not by a large margin. The frame and slide are also stronger (and the finish is higher). I prefer TM guns for hard use. They have much better options than Guarder, Shooters Design makes a more complete nozzle system and there are great replacement pistons as well. The TM 1911 is accurate, powerful and one of the most upgradeable guns out there.

You simply cannot go wrong with a Western Arms. Again you get what you pay for.

WAs look good, and push decent power, but for the field they generally run into a few problems.
The TM Glock 17 is robust, accurate, but suffers from light strike issues with green gas and high temperatures. Also the blowback is weak. I prefer KSC/KWA Glocks to the TM.
I tried the Shooters Design, screwed up the cycling, not much help. I would look into the Shooters Design CNC Valve Knocker. I have not personally tried it yet, but it looks to be a tiny bit longer.
