I'm pretty sure that those statements (I know mine for sure) were a commentary on the disproportionate number of liberal wackos at UC Berkley. Its hard to indoctrinate students in a science class or engineering class... math is hard to make political ;) but the political science classes is where the shit flows an opinions are course content. The problem comes where those who you say are a minority are the only voice coming out of the town and the city leaders are supporting them.

The debate over UC Berkeley wasn't about code pink or the left wingers. It's about putting them in with the greatest colleges of America. There is no doubt that UCB has some of the finest programs in the nation. It however doesn't have the history and or age to put it amongst the greatest colleges of America. In other words it is one of the best/finest educational institution but not one of the greatest college. Personally my beef isn't with UCB it's with the regents. Unfortunately, the town itself most likely brings down UCB a lot.

some of the protesters looked like they could use some chlorine in their gene pool. I just dont get why they are harassing the recruiting station and not just protest the war in general. Its not like the USMC started the war. Old men started the war, not the soldiers. They just follow their orders.
