Generally, if something gets warm inside of your AEG it's becasue of an excessive draw in amps from the battery. If you didn't have the problem before installing the MOSFET then I would have to guess that you possibly downsized the wiring and therefore causing the motor to strain when pulling the power through the in-effective wire system. If when you installed the new part and opened up the gearbox, then perhaps you removed a shim somewhere and thus causing strain in the system and making the motor overheat. Either way, it's either the gearbox or the wiring. Normal AEG's that are not upgraded to over 400 FPS should pull between 14-17 AMPs, use a volt meter to check when firing you gun...Without actually looking at it this is all I can say. Hope it helps.
