Phil was saying this is a good thigh holster can anyone back this? Would you trust it with a $200.00 sidearm, to crawl through the dirt, rocks, jump, roll, smash into the grass and mud?

i have a guarder tornado holster, works good, but if you want total security for your side arm youll want a Safariland 6004 tactical thigh holster.

Gotta agree with Ron on that. The Safarilands hold a weapon better than any holster I have seen. And it won't flop around on your leg.

Has anyone ever looked at the holsters on elitesurvival.com? I just came across the site in a real steel magazine and some of their tactical holsters look pretty good

Blackhawk industries (www.blackhawkindustries.com)...they customize gear to REAL special forces, designed for REAL use with REAL Steel. You should look into them, before you spend a load of cash on a useless dropleg.

Hate to burst your bubble Flyboy but most people here have had BHI gear for a few years. They know how good it is, and how craptacular some of thier stuff it. Like thier holsters. They are just too soft. And the don't hug your leg tightly enough to prevent moving of your weapon while running.

safariland makes REAL holsters for REAL STEAL guns...what do you think that most police officers in high risk patrol areas use? safariland raptor series, not dropleg of course, as well as SWAT officers, and military, not to mention most SF guys, (SF = Special Forces) have the 6004s on their leg.......and yes all the branches that use safariland usually carry REAL STEAL in thier holsters.

wat I dont get is that you spend 200.00 on a gun and 140.00 on a holster for it the holster is pratically as much as the gun

you want to protect your 200+ dollar investment, i for one wouldnt want to put a 200+ buck gun into a cheap 12-20$ holster, and when it comes loose and you drop it on pavement....200+ bucks goes, add another 100+ to the price for repairs and what not...thats the way i see it, i mean your only as good as your gear..HAHAHAHA....no, better gear = your gun stays together, and you wont have to worry about it...and also you can be harsh on it....not worrying that your gear might get ripped or torn or what not.

if you dont want to spend the money on a good holster for a gbb.. why get the gbb in the first place?

anyways, if you dont want the safariland, there are other less expensive options. (although you wont be as pimp), there is the sotech ground pounder, London Bridge NSW... still not as cool, but they're real deal sex appeal

One of the draw backs I just noticed to the safariland is the fact it is molded for that specfic gun. So if something happens to my gun, and I can't find a duplicate of it, I'm screwed.

The 6004 is only for "pimps", hahaha.

The 6004 is also very comfortable just to put on.

another downside: they dont have it in a light pastel pink....

Pink Urban camo would be the pimpest thing on the field!

all my tac gear is in pink so i guess the 6004 wouldn't fit in with the rest of my gear
