what is the advantage of using green gas over c02? i dont see too many c02 guns around and im not sure why. thanks.

co2 sucks everytime u run out u usaly need 2 take of the grips and put in a new cartridge. with green gas all u have 2 do is fill up your mag and your good to go.

I do not think there is much. The velocities of the rounds fired change depending on the outside temperature. The only thing i have noticed is that most C02 Guns are non blow back, so you save gas. Like my 1911, i can go through at least 5 mags without running out of gas.

damn, do you guys prefer one over the other for any specific reason? I like full metal gas blowbacks just because of the realisticness lol idk if thats even a word. but yeah my dad has been complaining about the guns and asked why i didnt just get a c02 one, since i have c02 from paintball guns, and i wasnt too sure what to say. he thinks i have only one gun, but i bought 2, and am going to buy more soon (1911 and an m4 hopefully). I hate how my parents complain about how i spend my own money lol. thanks for the responses guys.

in that case, does anyone know about any good c02 blowback full metal pistols? any that you'd recommend? i tend to see a lot more green gas ones which is why i have 2 already. thanks again for your time man and i dont mean to ask dumb questions, just figured id ask after my father asked me. I certainly hope i didnt waste money buying green gas guns, thats the only thing im worried about.

CO2 airsoft guns usually put out a higher output than green gas however these guns are usually of lower quality. Off the top of my head, the only company that I can think of is KWC and AE. These guns have little if any upgrade parts and if something breaks, your better off buying another whole gun.
