Ok so I am pretty new to more of a organized airsoft. I used to do some B.B. (Backyard Battles) with friends and had bought some guns that are not that great.

Welcome! IMO the sportlive will be the best bang for your buck if you are looking to spend $150 which does not include a battery or charger. Try the private seller forum. They have some good guns in there that may fit your price range. :D

trust me, save up for a tm g3sas (around $230 w/ good battery). That thing is so much better than the WELL G3 (around $150) that my friend has. we compared the two, and the Tm is at least 3 times better in all aspects.

If money is an issue, check out some of the used guns. There are constant posts in the private seller forum, and if they really want it gone you could probably get one pretty cheap.

you sound like me when I was getting into airsoft, I didn't have much money to spend, but wanted a good quality gun. I would say save up your money, and look at the private sellers form for deals, i did and was able to get a M15A4 with mags for a good deal.
