MM Manual Drum Mags?

Nov 17, 2004 5:28pm
Anyone know of any reviews or information regarding Mosquito Molds C Mags? Anyone have any personal experience with them? I want an inexpensive "C-Mag". No TOP mags, so please don't tell me to check out TOP mags... Cause TOP sucks! LOL

i had a MM C-mag for my MP5, its in neouser/kevin's hands now, but while i had it i noticed that it never misfed once. Supposedly held up to 3000 rds, never checked it though. Its a bit difficult to load it, you kind of turn a piece on the back of it to reveal a hole to pour BBs into. They are manual wind, you can get a few hundred rounds out of it with a good wind. There was one problem that I noticed, it is that every once in a while, one or two BBs got caught in the body of the C-mag outside of the BB compartment of it. They would rattle a bit if u shook the mag. Not a big enough problem though for me to dislike it. If i had the chance again, I would get another one of those things.

lolz, on the back, there is a plate with a hole in it, in the back of the mag there is another hole. you turn the plate to line the holes up, which is about 1 inch in diameter. It was hard at first to load it, but i just made a funnel with a piece of paper and it loaded fine.

What gun are you getting it for? Maybe we can work out a deal. (Or maybe not. Still wanna be a gunner, but I don't know if I want to use an MP5 for that job. Toss up.)

Its probably going to be for an MP5. I've got a TOP drum mag that works fine, but I want a higher capacity for when the wife comes out to Ord one day. That way she hopefully will not have to reload with about 3,000 BB's to play with...
