Feb 24, 2008 8:27am
Has any one ever seen or know where to get a left handed side arm?
If I can see you, I will shoot you.

USP or USPc, mag release on both sides.

I am left handed but i just cope and adjust. The only problem with the M4 i have is the Mag release which i heard can easily be changed.

Left handed sidearm is almost not an issue, except for the mag release. No biggee to me. My G17 is very easy to release in my left hand. If you want to bring up the slide release... ok. But still no biggee.

Its a slide catch, not a release.

Ok, so now we know that they exist, where do I get one from?

eh, all I can say is get used to it. You'll spend more money on a lefty firearm (if that's the case). Ive only seen one company make a dedicated, lefty weapon, and that's Stag firearms and its m16/ar15 platform.

Maruzen P99 Baybee, only way to go!
Feb 24, 2008 9:31pm
For your m4, get the G&P Ambi catch
Feb 24, 2008 9:52pm
Yep, Ive noticed the only "Ambi/left hand" appropriate pistol is a USP and USPc.

Most lefthanders use their index and/or middle finger for those functions. Being lefty myself, I've become used to it with so little available in the real steel product. Besides, as someone posted earlier, it's a little more expensive to get product modded to suit the lefty.

I'm a lefty myself. I like 1911's, Glocks, and M9's. As for how they feel on your hand is totally up to you :P
Feb 27, 2008 9:57pm
m1911's, sig p22x, and glocks have a left side, ergo in your left handed palm, slide catch. since you don't want to drop the mag after the first shot, go for things like USP or the MK23
