Sniper Rule
Is a 170 spring legal for sacair, or do i need to put a 150 in.
depends on the gun. the same spring can be less effective in different guns. if your not sure go with the lower one.
I used to work in a bank... USED TO... apparently they don't like it when you take home samples.
Alright, well im gettin a TM VSR-10 with a 170, is that alright as far as rules and performance?
As long as it chronos 550 or less with .20s you are golden.
I shoot Table Gypsies on sight!
its about fps, not the spring. I don't know what a 170 spring would do in that gun.

Ya, apparently it shoots a little over 550 with 20g's, and i heard lowering the spring will bring it under. So thanks
170 will go a little over 550

My friend's 170 spring started out a bit above 550 but settled in at 523fps in his VSR-10 G-spec.

if you leave the gun cocked while you store it at first you can take some of the bite out of it and lower the fps under the limit.

+1. My G spec settled down to 525 after a bit of use. DONT leave it cocked back forever.

Springs wear from compression and decompression. Not just sitting in one position.

Not talking about the spring. Leaving it cocked is bad for the sear correct?

well my gun should be shooting over 500 but something happened with my spring that i can't understand it was just sitting their not compressed and all of the sudden it shoots 450  again i have no idea what is wrong with it since there was no pressure on it.
