Always show common sense. then maybe you can convince you mom that playing airsoft isn't that bad. My brother is 12 and he plays. Maybe show her some good threads about how responsible the guys at Sacair are. If you wear eye protection, almost nothing bad can happen to you. If you wear a full face mask, you pretty much have no risk at all.

The best things you can do to get your parents to allow you to play already has been suggested. But another aspect that has my mom interested in the sport, by inviting them out to the game. Have them meet with the admin and watch (or even better, play) a round and see what they think. Not only do you get to play, but they get a idea that the sport is much like a FPS shooter you play at home, but with a actual socialization, and learning life skills.
