Why Can't We Get a Game ON?

How does non-profit incorporation raise liability? I thought incorporation removes personal liability. Also most of it is on paper or at least the last time I chartered one. As long as at the end of the fiscal year the non-profit doesn't make/hold a certain amount you won't loose your non-profit status. Then again that was about 10 years ago so things could've changed since.

Non profit, incorporation, LLC are completely different things...By creating a non-profit the website will now be a "Filed Organization". Now would it be easier to sue a Organization or a website where people get together to play airsoft?

Well if you guys would host a game every other week we would be fine. There are like 5 admins and only one needs to host the game. So get them to play with the community either than leaving to play in the bay area and other places.

i understand the org thing fully (considering people are getting sue happy these days) but i like the freedom of sacair its just a group of people that like to go out have fun and shoot each other with realistic looking guns i would like to keep it that way not turn it into and org were we have "guidelines" we must follow, and ukau is right it is alot easier to sue an org then a group of random airsofters...
