Hey, after I am done paying the deducitble on my truck, I am gonna build an m4. Metal body, m203, the whole nine yards. Not too crazy to use real steel parts on it. Just wondering the cost of something like that. On the internals I want some decent range and a good rate of fire. Just post up!

all the armalites and m16s/m4s I have are CA, I kick butt with em, never have had a single problem.

Instead of building one, just get one of the G&P or G&G's. That would cost alot less then piecing one together.
yep, just get a G&G. it's pretty much all done up.
I just got a CA M-4 hicap, and they feed better than the Maruis. Granted I have only been able to use it in 2 or 3 games, but they are almost half the price of marui and just as good.

I got my new CA M15a4 Ris, because I'm doing the same thing you plan to do... instead of jumping on the internals I'm just keeping it stock, because it is a urban/cqb gun. Long range I got my M15a4 Rifle. When the internals break I'll replace them, but no need to rush on upgrades when theres other things I want for the gun.
you could build one for about 300-400 bucks, just need to find the parts, i mean FIND, meaning check private sellers sections everywhere, or classifeids, you can pick up a stock M4 gear box for about 100 bucks stock not open'd (neouser has one for sale) if you want a M203, G&P its all metal already, CA One piece outter barrel, you can prolly nab one for about 30-60 bucks. metal body bite the bullet spend about 200 bucks, grip and parts about 40 bucks, and motors i got like 2 EG1000s i could sell you, umm then get a stockmod kit that includes a buffer tube, prolly around 100 bucks, its over 300/400, but those prices are estimated if you get really lucky you could spend less than that, but its cheaper to buy a CA or a G&G one...
