Ok, what is the story behind washing your BB's before using them?

Yes you must give every bb a spit shine before usage! Didnt you read the fine print!?

Must have missed that one.

don't think that's necessary with most bbs.

if you wash them you will see tighter groupings.

I wash them on wrinkle free settings with a bit of oxyclean. And then put them in the dryer with 2 sheets of bounce at low setting.

Wow washing bbs.. for tighter "groups" Man I guess washing each bb would make a super difference in the ballistics of a 6mm plastic sphere fired through a smoothbore. Man I am such a noob.

lol, i just roll em around on a dry towel and pickem up by the hand full's. otis just doesnt realize you can get 1 inch groupings with .2 and a stock tm m14 at 100 yards if you only washed your bbs... jk, seriously it does make the gun shoot better, im guessing because the hop up grips it better... but you dont have to be a jerk otis, it wouldnt hurt to maybe read a few different opinions than your own.

I rather just shoot 3000 bb's than wash 3000 bb's and hope to get good "groupings."

I personally lick each and every BB before i load them in my mags. 8)

lol my friend tried that once....

yea, bbs give me hives... every time i get shot i get a little red bump....

Just use heaving BB's for closer "groupings."

lol, i have seen this to be true too, not just a mythe... yoy soak your bbs with warm water and hand soap. let them sit for a day in the soapy water then give them another bath in regular warm water. i put them all in a towel and roll em around till dry. you will see and feel the difference in the bb. the hop up gets a better grip because the bb isnt as slippery from the silicone and the bb shoots straighter. it is effective within 100 feet. i havent checked past that...

i hear Rick Astley washes his BBs, reason enough to do it. Wonder what would happen if i washed BBs in pudding....hmmm. TO THE LAB!!!
