Most guns dont really hold any sort of value that scratches would effect. You gun is a tool for throwing bb's at people. Use it as such.

I have the usual scratches and such. Use it for what its meant for instead of worrying this and that.
don't want scratches on your gun but still want to play?

your gun will get hit thousands of times, so i dont know what the other guy was saying about your gun not getting hit. The wont hurt the gun, but at the last cqb city game one guy got his scope cracked from a bb. And if your worried about breaking your gun or getting dirty you probably wont have any fun playing cause you will be constantly worring about getting it messed up. Every gun is going to have scratches so get used to it. Just because it has scratches also doesnt mean you have to paint it. If the enemy is close enough to point out the imperfections on your gun that probably means your dead

my favorite gun hit was triggered by sixth sense, spidey sense or just the force
Having a scratch on your gun is the same thing as having a cool scar on your body. I've got some BIG scratches on my old M4, and they all have a story.
I've seen quite a few aeg's on this forum with artificial wear that was added for realism.
