I am in the process of upgrading my Jg m16 and have a pdi150% in the gear box, so any suggestions on a good motor.Ive seen the guarder turbo long torque and the super toque infinite series and am wondering if they were good? Also what about the tm eg1000. I would like a great rof and under 70$

EG 1000 motors are solid and provide a good ROF with M100/150% type springs.

Not yet, Im awaiting shims, but it will be running solid soon. Do you know the rate of fire for both with a 9.6 or a 8.4 , because i keep hearing one is better than the other. I know the tm will be more reliable but i hear the pinion is a bad word. And i also found an SRC Motor, i dont know how good that is either.

9.6v is a higher voltage and will increase the ROF from an 8.4v battery. I dont have any way of calculating ROF.

I'm more fixated on reliability first, and rof fire is a good trait yo have for fire superiority and to save my hide when i have people rushing me.

So. Your new to airsoft right? Like, sacair, 20+ people type games.

ya, which motor is the best as of ratio to a pdi 150 or 110 spring. I would like it to have a ratio for better rof fire for the spring considering that im not pullin an m180 or pdi 190%

I used a systema high speed motor in my mp5 with that spring and it had an incredible ROF with a 8.5 3380 mah battery.

Id like something a little cheaper.

Ya I understand but cheaper in airsoft is the same principal when shopping for hookers. Not always the best of ideas, you pay for what you get. IE: 10$ may get you crabs with your meal but it wont be the crabs you want.

I know that. But for 70 on a motor id be expecting lobster. Are there not any quality motors for 20$ cheaper. Because price isn't every thing, I've had my jg m16 for quite a while now and it still holding out better than most CA.

For under20$ I have had no experince with good motors for that price. I tired an SRC motor about 2 years ago and the gear on it destroyed a brand new systema gear set. I would say dont skimp on the motor. FOr 70$ on a motor you are getting lobster with the performance level.

No, not under 20$, under 50$ is what i meant. 20$-70$ = 50$ thats what i meant. I like the guarders and the eg1000 but heard bad reviews of the pinion gear and bad ROF for eg 1000 . I like Rof by the way. I havent found a motor on this site for quite awhile now. People just dont seem to be selling any quality motors lately.

Hmmm ok... TM EG1000 motor = Best around IMHO. Never had ROF issues with it. neither with the Gaurder Pinion gears. All my guns have fast ROF too. The motor will only get your ROF so fast. At some point you will have to change gears, shimming, lubrication. I have had guns shooting around 33 rps but that was with 200$ in gear box work. Worth it but pricey.

The tm eg1000 has really bad reviews on the pinion stripping, not the guarder. Sorry for the confusion. The guarder super turbo torque(it pulls a m120 spring faster) is what i like and the guarder infinite high torque( can pull m180, the other can only pull a m130 with higher rof) is ok too.What motors do you know the rof for? Can u list them plz?

Ok first please link me to these reviews. I have been playing with sacair for 3 years and been playing airsoft for 10 years and never had an issues with TM motors pinions stripping, I have seen them wear out but that is normal. I guesse you don't have to take my word or the word of most of the senior members on this board who have used TM's and LOVE TM"s because they make some of the best guns out there but oh well. That included their motors. Plus a pinion is cheap to replace whereas the motor is suspensive.

Hmmm ok...DOnt forget that motor may not have been tuned right in the grip. If the motor hieght adjustment is off on ANY motor is will destroy the Pinion gear. Odds are that is what happened. I say get an eg1000 I would put a pay check on one. Turst me I dont say that alot.

Umm I wouldn't trust just one review on one site and say TM EG 1000 motors have a pinion stripping problem. I mean this could be some kid who doesn't know a rock from his elbow living in the middle of bum f**K Arkansas with his mom/sister. I mean he could have had the pinion not meshed with the gear right, there could have been chunks of metal from the last gear stripping problem ect. Who knows maybe it was a bad gear, but out of how many?

Is the rof better about same with the blue guarder motor. I've heard the right ratio for power to speed is the guarder blue infinite turbo toque on evike. It will pull a m120( im using a little lower spring than that) at really high fps to the tm pulling a m140 and no change in rof, just torque.

Hey otis, I'm not trying to be an @22, but its like when i would like to know a question, some arrogant-know- it- all likes to hound me and say hey, why do you want this brand or that style. Im open to suggestions if your going to hound me like that just also give some help. Ill take in little if you give a little knowledge instead of sending me on the track i really dont want because of money or reliability. Please don't think im an @22 because im not and i do have respect for people like andrew and certainly you otis and all the other sacair adults and minors. Thanks for your help.
