Okay, I'll make this short. I got an aug, used. The gun is in great condition and has a metal hopup unit.

try setting the hop uo lower

maybe that's why they sold it to you? lol

Well I got a pretty good deal on it so if I've got to fix this problem(which from what I've gathered it fairly common on the augs) I'm okay with that.

I dont have the metal hop, But I do have the metal feed tuba and have had no feed problems.

Okay. I fiddled around with it today and I am pretty sure it is the metal hop unit that is screwing things up. I am considering just ordering a different unit, but the one in there appears to be a g and p which to my knowledge is a decent brand. Is there something I could do to fix it? Just curious before I take the thing apart. Also on the feed nozzles, does the body of the gun have to come apart to get it in to it's place?

was it installed in the gun when you got it or do you mean you got the nozzle in a trade and installed it yourself?

I was just taking a closer look at the plate behind the mechbox and it has been cut. The person just did a very clean cut and, not having a point of reference, I didn't notice. So, what does that mean now?
